this product directly from Worx. Each year I experience the enjoyable
task of picking up the 5 tons of leaves that come from my 'wonderful'
neighbor's yard (the ones that her lawn care guy actually has the nerve
to blow in to my yard despite me not having any trees to return the
favor with).

I was so thrilled when it arrived...until I took it out of the box and
saw all of the scratches and gouges up and down the motor and
attachments. It looked as though someone had used it once or twice and
returned it. I e-mailed customer service (always e-mail so you start a
paper trail in case you have to file a complaint at a later date) and
they did promptly respond to my complaint, although when I advised them
it looked as though the machine had been used, the gal said they do not
sell refurbished equipment that it was either damaged when it was
packaged or en route.

So apparently their shipping department drags the equipment across the
floor before they box it up (damage was clearly done before it was
placed in the box). She gave me the option of taking 20% off or
returning it, of course, since it's a $150 + piece of equipment, if I'm
getting something used, give me 50% off, not 20% so I opted to return it
and told her I wanted a new one that didn't look used.

She e-mailed me the return slip and I shipped it back. They did receive
it, but apparently, they don't want my money because they credited my
account back and I have not heard anything from them about getting a new
machine. Like others have said - their customer service stinks and I am
now considering other vendors. While the machine looked promising, if I
have to deal with poor customer service....definitely makes me think
twice.

after reading alot of reviews decided to buy one and so glad I did.
Don't have any problems and love that I can blow leaves into a corner
then quick switch and suck them up. No heavier than black and decker and
sucked up several pea gravel rocks and no chips in plastic peller. worx
like a dream!
